It may be the fourth largest antelope in Africa, but it can still run up to 35 miles per hour! This powerful beast is an excellent choice for any hunter looking for a challenge! You may hunt our trophy Roan using any method you prefer, including Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Pistol Hunting, Safari Style, or from a Blind. Our Roan antelope are free ranging on over 18,000 acres of Texas Hill Country! Roans are known to make three different unusual noises: a high-pitched squeal when they are upset, snorting when alarmed, and a low hissing sound when wounded.
Roans form harem groups of 5-15 females with a single mature bull.
Roan bulls fight to see who will be the dominant leader of the herd. The losers will be outcasts and forced to live in bachelor herds.
Prior to fighting, both of the roan antelope fighters are known to get down on their knees and display their horns. The roan antelope is named for the roan color that distinguishes their coats from other antelope.

At Migrate Outfitters, L.L.C. we understand unforeseen circumstances arise. The following is our rescheduling policy that you agree to when you utilize the services of Migrate Outfitters, L.L.C. In the event of rescheduling for a guest, rescheduling will be at the discretion of the host and their availability. Guests and hosts are allowed only one (1) reschedule per adventure. After the first reschedule, a new booking will be required.
