Two trip options, sunrise to noon (morning trips) OR 2 pm to 7 pm (afternoon trips). If you’re looking for fish to eat; this fish is fit for a King. Crappie are the best freshwater fish to eat. These trips are offered from January 1st through December 31st. Lake O’ the Pines: We will fish for Crappie on PVC structures and brush piles with jig and minnows on slip cork. We also drift fish the lake depending on time of year. Lake Murvaul & Brandy Branch: We will fish for Crappie on PVC structures and brush piles with jig and minnows. We also fish the shallows during the spawn with jig and minnows on slip corks. Big Cypress Bayou: We will fish for Crappie on natural brush piles with jig and minnows with and without slip corks. Martin Creek Lake: We will fish for Crappie on PVC structures and brush piles with jig and minnows on slip cork. Sabine River: We will fish for Crappie on Natural brush piles with jig and minnows with and without slip corks.
