Maine has the largest bear population east of the Mississippi. There's an estimated 30,000-35,000 black bears in the state of Maine! We use trail cameras at all of our sites so we can keep track of the bears that are coming in. Here at Family Tradition Guide Service, we want to see more youths in the field and have the experience that most hunters don't get a chance to have. Arrive at camp Sunday afternoon and depart Saturday morning. This hunt is the same as the fully-guided bear hunt. Food, lodging, transportation to and from the bait sites, game retrieval, transportation to the tagging station and the butcher shop will be included. Just bring your snacks and drinks. Enjoy your stay with us in a comfortable fully furnished camp. We'll assist you in setting up the snare Sunday afternoon, checking it daily and removing the snare Saturday morning prior to your depart. This hunt includes lodging in a fully furnished camp, 3 meals a day, transportation to and from the bait sites, game retrieval, field dressing, transportation to the tagging station and to the butcher.

At Migrate Outfitters, L.L.C. we understand unforeseen circumstances arise. The following is our rescheduling policy that you agree to when you utilize the services of Migrate Outfitters, L.L.C. In the event of rescheduling for a guest, rescheduling will be at the discretion of the host and their availability. Guests and hosts are allowed only one (1) reschedule per adventure. After the first reschedule, a new booking will be required.
