On a trip with us you will also learn about fish habitat and the different cycles crappie go through throughout the year. The main lake I fish on is Beaver Lake. On our trip we will fish mostly open water, bluffs and docks. We can get out of the wind and rain! We will fish brush piles, standing timber and bamboo crappie condos. We will cast jigs, vertically fish jigs and use a minnow under a slip float in most cases. We primarily use spin cast reels with 6 pound test on ultra light B&M poles. Push button reels are available.
Crappie fishing can be good all year, but the best seasons are: March through June and late August through November. We start fishing most mornings at first light, so please be prepared for some cool temperatures! Night guides available spring through early summer (April - July) Night trips will be done anchored close to a bluff near the main lake channel or in one of the private docks we have access to.
We can accommodate larger groups on our docks for night fishing.

In the event of rescheduling for a guest, rescheduling will be at the discretion of the host and their availability. Guests and hosts are allowed only one (1) reschedule per adventure. After the first reschedule, a new booking will be required.
