About Package

This Port O' Connor fishing trip with Steve is where you want to be. Steve Barnes has been fishing the Gulf since 1999. He will work hard to get you on the fish. Steve uses a 2016 31 foot Twin Vee Catamaran with twin 300 hp outboards. The equipment he uses include Simrad electronics and Shimano rod and reels. On this trip you will be fishing for Jetty Sharks, Tarpon, Jacks, and Bull Reds.

What to Bring

You will need to bring a Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp. Please also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, food, and drinks (no glass on the boat). Cooler, bottled water, and ice for your drinks is provided, so please don't bring a cooler on the boat. You may leave a cooler in your vehicle and then can transport the cleaned fish into your cooler after the adventure is done. Please do not wear black sole boots. The best footwear to use are sandals, crocks, or water shoes.

steve was a great guide and a polite captain! He didnt even giggle when I didnt know how to work the reel great tips on how to cook it too. time and money very well spent. we're deffiently coming back to see him soon.

I would say that we have been fishing with Steve at least 12 times if not more. That says a lot because I won't use anyone else but him. Steve is by far the best guide on Texoma and Port O'Connor. I've been on several other guide trips with different individuals on Texoma and the Texas Gulf Coast but as far as knowledge, professionalism and friendliness Steve is by far the best hands down. Me, my son and my father have been on multiple trips with him including Lake Texoma, Red River and Port O'
